Our Story
Over 20 years ago Irene and Andy met at a house party in London. Andy couldn't keep his eyes off this sassy Italian girl and so not to come across as obsessive, he resorted to signing up to her music fan mailing list (or was it her list of suitors...it wasn't very clear back then...and maybe still isn't!) and play the long game, and the rest is history...
Well, as you can imagine things didn't exactly go that way but you'll have the honour of listening to the full story during some incredibly fun (and rambling) speeches at our wedding.
We can't wait to share this special moment with you and hope to see you soon!

The Wedding
The wedding will take place on Saturday 21st of June 2025 at 6pm at Belvedere delle Colonne, a view point close to La Bobba beach in Carloforte, on the island of San Pietro, Sardinia.
We will organise a transfer service that will take you from the town centre to the Belvedere view point.
After the ceremony, it's a 5 minute walk to the party villa where the celebrations will commence!
Getting to
Carloforte
Carloforte is a charming small town located on the island of San Pietro in the South west of Sardinia. The closest international airport is Cagliari (CAG) and from there you can either rent/drive a car or get a transfer to the port of Portovesme (1hr) where you'll embark on a 35-minute ferry ride to Carloforte. We recommend booking your transportation in advance to avoid any inconvenience.

🚗 Rentacar: there is no public transport in Carloforte and taxi service is limited, so we highly recommend you rent a car. There are plenty of rental car companies at Cagliari Airport, make sure you get full insurance cover as there are unpaved roads on the island. We will organise a private transfer service for the day of the wedding so you don't have to drive

All hotels in town are walking distance from restaurants, shops and the port. However, if you do want to visit the beaches or tour the island, we recommend you hire a car in Cagliari airport. Alternatively, you can also rent e-bikes or scooters directly in town...or use your strong legs and start walking...there are some wonderful scenic hikes around the island!
